An HVAC equipment manufacturing company is looking for a Contracts, Supply Chain Attorney to join their growing in-house legal department. In this position, you will primarily provide legal and commercial advice and counsel in support of the procurement and manufacturing organizations, with responsibilities including drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of vendor, supply/procurement, and services contracts, including long term supply agreements, purchase orders, general terms and conditions, service contractor agreements, and other related agreements.

A successful candidate must have the ability to deal with complex matters while operating in a fast-paced business environment, providing effective and practical counsel on a variety of corporate and transactional matters.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience, in-house or at a large law firm.
  • Strong negotiation skills in connection with both legal and financial/commercial/operational issues.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, including the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships within the legal department and with business partners and to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the company.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
