A national law firm is seeking a highly motivated and well-qualified Energy, Environment, and Infrastructure Associate to join their team and practice in the Chicago, Denver, or Kansas City offices. In this position, you will manage complex transactional work, such as M&A, project development and commercial agreements. You will also interact with subject matter experts in other disciplines and local counsel, and supervise junior lawyers and other legal support staff. The individual must enjoy challenges, seek out responsibility, appreciate the importance of attention to detail and be effective at interacting with variety of clients and colleagues.
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in an in-house or legal firm position.
- Firm attention to detail.
- Must possess business acumen and apply critical thinking and analysis.
- Keen interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Tech savvy, with proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office and PDF.
- Proven ability to be resourceful, exercise initiative and sound judgment.
