Gibson Arnold & Associates is seeking an attorney with 5+ years of experience to join a firm in Las Vegas, NV as a Medical Malpractice Attorney. The ideal candidate for this position will be experienced with:
- Medical malpractice litigation;
- Interviewing and meeting with client representatives;
- Direct experience/interaction with insurance claims representatives, including reporting, case assessment, evaluation, and strategy;
- Responsibility for handling own files/matters preferred;
- Taking and defending fact and expert depositions;
- Expert engagement and preparation, expert disclosures and reporting;
- Experience with all facets of pre-trial discovery and preparation;
- Experience with all facets of pre-trial motions;
- Experience with large document production and database matters;
- First chair mediation experience, preferred;
- Management and delegation of work to paralegals;
- First chair trial/arbitration experience, preferred;
- Schedule and payment claim experience, preferred;
- Marketing and business development interest;
- Experience in drafting publications, articles, or legal presentations, preferred.
