Gibson Arnold & Associates is seeking an attorney with 6+ years of experience to join a company in Fort Worth, TX as a Construction/Procurement Legal Counsel. The ideal candidate for this position will be experienced with:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of construction-related agreements, including EPC contracts, design‑build agreements, subcontractor agreements, equipment supply contracts, engineering/architectural service contracts, and maintenance/service agreements;
- Advising internal stakeholders on project delivery models, construction risk allocation, insurance, warranties, indemnities, and performance obligations;
- Supporting project teams through all phases of construction—from planning and procurement to project execution and closeout;
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating procurement contracts across categories including equipment, materials, services, and technology;
- Partnering closely with the supply chain and procurement teams to develop RFPs, vendor agreements, and master supply arrangements;
- Ensuring contracting processes align with organizational policies, compliance standards, and industry best practices;
- Identifying and mitigating legal and commercial risks related to construction and procurement operations;
- Assisting with dispute management strategies, including support for mediation, arbitration, or litigation when necessary;
- Serving as a trusted advisor to engineering, operations, procurement, and project management teams;
- Delivering practical, business‑oriented legal guidance that balances legal risk with operational goals.
