Gibson Arnold & Associates is seeking an attorney with 6+ years of experience to join a company in Fort Worth, TX or Sydney, Australia as an Energy Legal Counsel. The ideal candidate for this position will be experienced with:
- Utility Agreements, Energy Infrastructure, Power Agreements, and Energy Regulatory work;
- Ensuring compliance with environmental, health & safety, and operational regulations across energy assets and projects;
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), EPC contracts, O&M agreements, supply and procurement contracts, joint ventures, interconnection agreements, and service agreements;
- Supporting M&A activities, including due diligence, risk assessment, integration planning, and transaction structuring;
- Advising on project finance transactions and coordinating with external counsel as needed;
- Identifying legal risks and proposing mitigation strategies across operational and strategic initiatives;
- Supporting corporate governance, contract management, and internal policies.
