Midstream oil and gas company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join their legal team. Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience. This position will be assisting various groups across the company, with a primary focus on supporting natural gas liquids FERC and power business and assisting on regulatory matters (state and federal).
JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Counsel business on compliance with FERC, TX RRC, and other pipeline regulatory agency requirements for natural gas liquids business.
- Assist with FERC and TX RRC administrative proceedings, tariff filings, rate cases, and advocacy.
- Proven strategic support to implement pipeline regulatory business objectives.
- Counsel business on compliance with PUCT, ERCOT, and related regulations and requirements.
- Assist with the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements involving electricity.
- As needed, assist with advocacy on other regulatory matters.
- Prepare and submit regulatory filings.
